Google Calendar Data
Voice Controller offers an optional Google Calendar integration. This section describes how we handle data from Google APIs and takes precedence over the general statements in this policy for that data.
What we access. With your permission we access two things in your Google account: the list of calendars you are subscribed to, shown once so you can choose which calendar to sync; and the events on that one calendar you select. We do not access any other calendar, and we do not access Gmail, Drive, Contacts or any other Google service. How we use it. We use this access only to keep your chosen calendar in sync with appointments booked through your Voice Controller phone line.
We create a calendar event when an appointment is booked, update it when the appointment changes, and delete it when the appointment is cancelled. We read that calendar only to detect when an event we created has been moved or deleted, so the corresponding appointment is rescheduled or cancelled in Voice Controller. Events we did not create are ignored and their contents are not stored. What we do not do. We do not use Google user data for advertising, targeting, credit or lending decisions, or for any purpose unrelated to the calendar sync described above. We do not sell Google user data, and we do not transfer it to third parties except the infrastructure providers that host our application on our behalf, who process it solely to provide that hosting and are bound by contract to protect it. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models, and we do not transfer it to any third party that would do so.
How we protect it. Google data is transmitted over TLS and stored encrypted at rest. OAuth tokens are encrypted and access to them is restricted to the systems that perform the calendar sync. Access is scoped per business account, so one business cannot see another's data. Retention and deletion. We retain the Google event identifiers and synchronization state needed to keep your calendar accurate for as long as your integration is connected.
You can disconnect the integration at any time from Integrations > Google Calendar in your Voice Controller dashboard, which deletes our stored Google tokens and synchronization state.
You may also revoke our access at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. On disconnection or revocation, stored Google data is deleted within 30 days. Calendar events we previously created remain in your Google Calendar under your control.
10. International Data Transfers
If you are located outside the jurisdiction where our servers are located, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a country that may not have the same data protection laws as your country of residence. By using the Website, you consent to this transfer.
